Technical Office Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Office team on-site, ensuring efficient workflow and task allocation.
• Review all project documents (drawings, BOQs, specifications, contracts) and ensure proper implementation.
• Oversee preparation and submission of shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, and material submittals.
• Ensure timely approvals from consultants and alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with site, procurement, and planning teams to resolve technical issues.
• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination between Civil, Architectural, and MEP teams to avoid conflicts.
• Monitor technical submission logs and ensure alignment with project schedule and milestones.
• Review quantities, variation orders, and support cost control processes.
• Propose value engineering solutions to optimize cost and improve efficiency.
• Ensure preparation and submission of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
• Attend technical meetings with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, or relevant discipline).
• 10+ years of experience in technical office roles within construction or contracting companies.
• Proven experience in managing Technical Office operations on-site.
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction documentation.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination (Civil, Arch, MEP).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Revit is a plus).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Very good command of English.
